Türkiye

Where Asia meets Europe. Domes, balloons, and Bosphorus sunsets.

Why visit

Türkiye

Türkiye is one of the easiest, richest long-weekend trips you can book from the UAE. Istanbul's old city stacks Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, and the Grand Bazaar within ten minutes of each other on foot, and the Bosphorus at dusk, with ferries crossing under low pink light, is one of the great urban experiences in the world. A short internal flight south takes you to Cappadocia, where the dawn balloon lift over Göreme genuinely lives up to the photographs.

The practical case is just as strong. Most UAE residents qualify for the Türkiye e-Visa, which we file in under 24 hours. Flying time from Dubai to Istanbul is around five hours, and the cost of food, hotels, and shopping in lira gives you noticeably more value than any equivalent European city. April to early June and September to October are the cleanest weather windows for the balloon flights.

We combine three nights in Istanbul with three in Cappadocia as our standard six-night format, but the trip flexes well. A Bosphorus dinner cruise, a hammam in Sultanahmet, and a cave-hotel stay in Göreme together make a holiday that feels twice as long as it is.

Highlights

  • Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque on the Sultanahmet morning loop
  • Bosphorus dinner cruise with skyline views from both continents
  • Cave hotel in Göreme with a private terrace facing the balloon corridor
  • Sunrise hot-air balloon flight over the Cappadocia valleys
  • Underground city of Derinkuyu with a licensed Arabic-speaking guide
